Pulse Width Modulation is a method of reducing the average power delivered by an electrical signal, by effectively chopping it up into discrete parts. The average value of voltage (and current) fed to the load is controlled by turning the switch between supply and load on and off at a fast rate.
PWM input signal requirements:
1.The PWM input frequency is 10~25kHz
2. PWM signal level voltage, high level 3v-5v, low level 0v-0.5v
3. PWM input duty 0% -7%, fan does not run7% – 95 fan run speed increases linearly95%-100% fan run at full speed
